We watched in awe as Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels aligned on RAW. Chris Jericho was clearly going to be pissing his pants as his WWE Title looked in serious jeopardy but we move on to smackdown. Triple H had just been drafted and was in the hunt for the World Title but struggle to get past the unruly stupid pairing of Hawk and Justin Gabriel the latter being the Number 1 contender to the World Title, wazzupwidat! So Razor Ramon and Triple H squared off and Triple H wins, I think my friend played this but wait, O isn’t working, something is afoot. Yes Razor Ramon shakes hands with Triple H turning face, hmm weird huh?

Well the next time Triple H wrestled it all got a bit strange he beat Hawk, this didn’t however affect the rankings but O didn’t work again and Triple H walks up the ramp to Kevin Nash and HBK clapping him, they didn’t give us the option of aligning them all together but this was a sign, so my friend said we have to bring them together and that we did. Now since this I have altered the team so all four are heels, this has lead to a strange almagmation of rag tag superstars aligning but not teaming up against The Kliq. The most notable are John Cena, Booker T and Chris Jericho, however it is odd that after a big win over Goldust, Triple H was attacked by Chris Jericho who is the champion from the wrong show! WWE Universe my Kliq has arrived.

I had a minor irration with one match where I forgot that you cannot directly edit the match without ruining any matches not played before it, I forget when this was but it was a tad annoying as usual.

Michael Cole is now in my WWE Universe folks, I have even better news though I have downloaded Bradshaw and have created a very poor Farooq to team with him, Bradshaw actually beat the hell out of Michael Cole on Nitro which was a pleasure. This wasn’t enough though for the WWE Universe as in the next show CM Punk beat Michael Cole after he lost a match on Smackdown, obviously this is the Cole we see on commentary but still a bad week for Cole!

John Cena saved Road Dogg from getting beaten after his WWE Title match against Jericho but glitched before he ran to the ring, he sort of disappeared into the titantron, wish I could record videos, but I have not got the tools as of yet :p

So I played it since my friend left and I am still struggling to get Hawk and Gabriel down from their perch. Triple H has overtaken Hawk but Gabriel has now had two or three title matches. Surely he is not allowed another?? I wish we could make certain superstars unable to compete for certain titles, not by attributes but by a little title tick box or something similar as Edge being in the running for the IC Title is not helping me push other custom superstars like Razor Ramon who doesn’t seem to be getting involved in the IC title hunt, same with Mr Perfect, I know I can just book the match but I like to have things happen randomly.

So basically Smackdowns title picture is a bit naff, but RAW’s is ok, oh wait no it isn’t. Road Dogg is too high up, I been to push him and Billy Gunn for the tag titles but its just pushing them as singles superstars, one point before Triple H was drafted it was all DX in the top four, but now only Road Dogg is hanging in there that I am not happy with. I have Del Rio and Wade Barrett on major pushes but they can’t quite seem to get there Swagger, Abyss, Hulk Hogan and Eddie seem to be in the way somewhat but also seem to fail to get Road Dogg out of the top spots. Who knows maybe next time we will see Del Rio back in the limelight?

However this afternoon I had something brought to my attention that would ask them along with the rest of the world to step up and challenge the fools that have been given the right to run the country. The internet is under some kind of protest blackout in places to combat some silly law the United States of Policing Bullshit is trying to pull. American government raves on about peace and security yet it continues to be the constant tyrannic thorn in the world, don’t get me wrong, now I maybe just a small time blogger and I may have no real idea of the rammifcations of America not doing what they do, but if that is the case then keep us informed, none of this secret bullshit. If our freedom of information is being taken away then so should yours, we want access to your secret info, if you have access to ours, stop the bullshit. Piracy and Drugs are a fact of life, they happen regardless of your pathetic attempts to war on them. Use this to your advantage and stop trying to eliminate that which cannot be stopped, the people want cheap films, music and such like, either give them this or they will find other means, we are not all sheep to your stupid little controlled warfare we have our own ideas, our own lives, I am at the moment fighting for this because I feel let down by my own government but I’ll be damned if another country’ government is going to impose their laws on my internet because they want to stamp their bullshit policing on everyone. I have the right to say and write whatever I want and post it online, people don’t have to read it, they don’t have to agree with it, they can even feel free to send me comments disagreeing wholly, freedom is what we should fight for not control!

So above is a screenshot of a new online game I have started playing, giving it a test this evening and have reached level 10. It is simple to use, just follow the tutorial sort of jobs/quests to fulfil tasks and get more respect. Help your family grow and conquer so to speak. I gave it a go because I have Godfather 2 on ps3 and have thoroughly enjoyed playing it, so figured something with a similar theme would give me some enjoyment. It is very basic and to be honest, I’m not sure I would continue with it for long but if you ever played Kingdoms of Camelot and you loved that, well this is a new spin of a similar nature so do check it out.

Resources help your gang build and progress; food, steel, cement and obviously cash. You also train up troops for your family and sometimes get given some goons, lower level troops free to help you along. You build various types of building in your neighbourhood. Residential Apartments that affect your influence in the nieghbourhood I believe. You have restaurants that provide food and the obvious steel or cement works for respective resources. This game if you like this sort of thing will drain your life away as at first tasks are taking minimal amount of time, the highest time I have encountered so far is 20 minutes for 10 Thugs I created.

I like the feel and look of the game, you not only have a neighbourhood but also an Estate on this neighbourhood where you have various buildings that allow you access to more in game features like research and developing certain areas will open up new research or abilities for your family. You do pick from the five families to start with and that may affect how you play the game and/or what options are open to you.

All in all I am still weighing the game up but it looks a solid game but with a high time consuming style and could get a bit repetitive and tedious at times. Definitely worth a look if you like this sort of game, I’d give it a 6.5/10 so far.

2011 wasn’t the best year I’ve had, I lost both my remaining grandparents, one on either side. I wasn’t able to continue working due to the lack of funds at my last job as a web designer and a slight increase in stress has lead to me believe that depression has become easier to notice in me. I am still finding my sleep patterns erratic, although am always trying to take steps to fix this. Concluding that a lot of my late nights are down to gaming and other computer/tv based activities I have a plan to read more soon as I get the books I ordered with my Waterstones voucher I got for christmas. I am not 100% sure however, that reading will ultimately help as I have often found I find it hard to leave a gripping story and tend not to read boring books.

Back to the stress bit, possibly resulted in some health issues, gaming might have along with my weird co-ordination when typing and using mouse or touchpad caused some repetitive strain injuries, particularly in the middle fingers on the hand that I broke the wrist of. I’m not sure that last sentence was grammatically sound but it’ll do.

So yeah, I have ideas of what to do with my life. My music is always going to be there. A big part of me revolves around music, whether it be listening to it, making it, dancing to it, I want to teach it somewhat using my tutorials but there is no substitute for one on one collaborations and I hope to get some of those going over the years if I can. I am a little behind on the RNA Website I am currently developing as my motivation as suffered, due to reasons already mentioned among other things.

I still seem to find time for others lately, helping out a friend takes my mind off my own problems and makes me feel useful, giving me some small boost to my motivation and taking away some of the stress, sleep might be finding me in the small hours of the morning, say 3am – 6am I drop off and waking to the face the day a lot later than I’d like means I tend to do naff all with my day. For three solid days this week I have done very little but play games. On the positive side I have a new hanger on wheels for my clothes, meaning I can take the weight of clothes off my ever failing wardrobe hanger in the bedroom and hopefully it won’t fail me as much. I can probably move most of the clothes lying on my dresser too. Tomorrow hopefully brings a fresh start, clearing out my flat with my mum and getting rid of some junk I hope. Hope everyone reading is having a better start to the new year than I am.

After this I got Edge to beat CM Punk as I am still ploughing on trying to get the “Thank You Edge” trophy. Also the match which provided all the drama was Mr Anderson vs Triple H for the WWE Title, my friend had to leave so after selecting Triple H left me to play it, now the surprise was this, I had changed Triple H’s entrance music to his old “My Time” I believe music. Then when I had won the match Mr Anderson’s music played through the highlights and then Triple H’s music started after he had his hands raised, mad, what a weird glitch, thought I’d share it.

Skyrim is a game I knew I’d want to play from the moment I knew it was coming out. I thought that looks cool, however I was concerned that with my limited skill on previous elder scrolls games and the inclusion of dragons, I might find it too difficult to play. I have however found it a steady learning curve. The fighting with swords and bows seems a lot easier than in Morrowind and although I played a little Oblivion I do not want to compare because firstly, I played Oblivion on PC and Skyrim on PS3 and secondly I have played a lot more of Skyrim than I did Oblivion.

So I think the new levelling system, coupled with the standing stones is a fresh new approach to the elder scrolls games and suits the Nord ways. Basically when you enter the game and a little way into the introductory quest, you pass some stones, these stones are your base special skills, each one is different and their are a number of them dotted around Skyrim. This area contains three stones. The Mage, The Warrior and The Theif stone I believe. For more information about the standing stones, check here. I wasn’t really paying attention at this point and wandered off doing my own thing missing out on this base bonus. It didn’t really give me any problems but I know I’d have liked a little boost am sure. When you level up, you hit O in the PS3 case and it brings up a menu, consisting of skills(level up here), items, map and magic. The skills menu will be named Level up if you can level up and here you will be prompted to pick either stamina, magicka or health to upgrade and then given a perk to assign to wherever you want, within reason. You can then scroll through all the different skills available and find something to add a bonus perk to. These areas are covered in more detail HERE and HERE. Personally I didn’t think this through and have since found out a few things that might have inspired to pick differently. If you upgrade smithing to 100, you would be able to create dragon armour. A friend of mine was concentrating a little more on archery and says he can kill almost anything with one shot with his Elven Bow. I know someone who concentrated on magic and has been powering head with his destruction magic but he did not pick a dark elf and does not have Ancestors Wrath at his disposal muhahaha! So basically you could probably play through this game tonnes if you don’t mind redoing the story and get lots of different characters with different skill sets, challenging yourself anew each and every time. Oh I forgot to mention stamina apparently upgrades your carrying limit aswell!

So, the graphics are to be fair out of this world, walking through the areas where trees are a plenty is breathtaking, admittedly we can all sit here and whine about room for improvement, but I really don’t see how the graphics being any better would improve the game at all. The gameplay is sound and not too difficult, I am playing on apprentice on account of me wanting to be able to complete the game and hopefully get all the trophies if possible.

Skyrim in my view is a must have or at least test it out, so I’d strongly recommend it to anyone, definitely a 9.9/10 the 10 being missed out on only by the glitchiness that sometimes occurs when saved games are big and the fact that the update lost me my initial save, otherwise top game!

I decided that I want to get on to YouTube, I have decided for now I can wait to get doing something tutorial wise and just get some work in progress on Youtube, tap into another potential set of music whores!

So yeah it’s something I knocked up New Years Day night after going out NYE and then sleeping  quite a bit, slightly wired, I developed this little loop and am working on making the full track as I write listening along and typing developing it further so far so good, keep you posted. In the meantime here is a sample of it.

The episode features a few big names, Bill Bailey, the mum from Outnumbered in particular, but obviously a few familiar faces do appear. The “I know” comments from Matt Smith were pretty good, Matt is growing in his role as The Doctor, I sorely missed David Tennant, he was a true acting legend in the role, not everyone was fond of Tennant in the role, maybe these people will prefer Matt as he grows into the role. If that wasn’t enough the comedy and family entertainment provided by the special guests were well worth keeping recorded on the sky plus box.

I think my family missed out as I caught the show later after midnight and am eager to hear peoples thoughts on the episode. I have one ever so small disappointment, no trailer for new series, I would love to see a little taster.
